Last night, I went to see fellow Knotty Krafter Christy in "A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and A Prayer" as part of the V Day Movement. She was taking a stand against the violence facing women. According the the UN, 1 in 3 women on the planet will be beaten or raped in her lifetime.
Christy absolutely KILLED it in the monologue "Fur Is Back" by Eve Ensler. She was the perfect combination of poignant and funny. Christy is my hero. [SSHHHH: don't tell anyone, but she totally stole the show.]
